In a pressure cooker add oil, onions, garlic and mutton fry until it changes color.
add in salt and turmeric mix well add water, close lid.
Cook for 20 minutes.
(Time counts; when it starts to whistle)
After that add in ,red chili powder, chili flakes, coriander powder.
Mix well and cook couple of minutes.
Then add in blended tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
Now add in biryani masala;
When oil starts to separate add cumin and coriander seeds and chopped ginger & green chilies.
Mix well and at the end mix in all spice powder, lemon slices and off flame.
Now start layering:
First layer rice then meat again rice ,meat and then rice.
At the top pour yellow food color and ghee.
Let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
Then dish it out and serve to your guests or enjoy with your family.
You can serve it with your favorite yoghurt raita or chatni.
